The Orange County Convention Center hosts exhibitions, conferences, competitions and professional gatherings that bring travelers from across the country. Transportation should be planned around the event schedule, the correct building, the attendee’s hotel and any equipment or presentation materials.
Identify the event and building
Do not submit only “convention center” as the destination. Add the official event name and the building, hall or entrance supplied by the organizer. Large convention campuses can create long walks when a passenger is left at the wrong side.
For exhibitor or executive travel, include setup appointments, private meetings and client dinners as separate stops. This helps determine whether point-to-point or hourly corporate transportation is more appropriate.
Connect MCO and International Drive hotels
Provide the arriving flight number, the complete hotel name and the first required event time. If the traveler needs to check in or leave bags before the convention, make the hotel a confirmed stop rather than assuming the itinerary can change after pickup.
Groups should disclose passenger count, large cases, booth materials and equipment. Business travelers carrying exhibit items may need more cargo capacity than a standard airport arrival.
Plan the evening schedule
Convention days often continue into receptions, dinners and private events. A reserved hourly vehicle may reduce uncertainty when several engagements follow one another. For one confirmed hotel return, point-to-point service can be simpler.
